Description
RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE. villa was completely redesigned and renovated in 2012, in a modern, “Total White” style but with aesthetic references to the colours of the Mediterranean Sea, such as ultramarine and aquamarine. Sardinian wax ceramics in dramatic Mediterranean blue tones have been inserted on the polished white floors. And, likewise, the décor in the common areas is always the same dominant white with ceramic inserts in shades of blue and aquamarine. Some tables, for example, have been specially designed and hand-crafted, with a modern-style white structure and Cerasarda mosaic inserts, typical of the region, creating a modern effect but at the same time enhancing the typical regional style. There are several common areas, the indoor kitchen, the loggia, the outdoor veranda and the two near the pool, characterized by these unique tables. An additional relax area is located next to the tennis court and composed by a round granite table. The view over the Gulf of Asinara is magnificent and the sunsets are fantastic. The resort is, in fact, called “Punta Tramontana” (Sunset Point). In this area the sun sets later than in the rest of Italy and in June it sets at about 21.45, creating colours that range in all the tones of orange-red. The villa has been designed optimizing energy sources to enable use in maximum respect for the environment. Another strong point of the property is the swimming pool facing the sea and which, with its irregular shape and sandy sunbathing area, represents almost an extension of the sea towards the property itself.

Location and distances
The villa is located in a very quiet place and away from other homes but next to a top-class restaurant, reached directly through a little gate, with whom we have an agreement for catering services. Peace and quiet are guaranteed at all times, even in high season. Within easy reach are localities with supermarkets and shops of all sorts. About 8 km away is Castelsardo, a medieval town perched on a cliff directly over the sea which deserves a visit with its old borgo, castle and 12th century cathedral. The airports of Alghero-Fertilia and Olbia are respectively 40 and 90 km away. The town of Sassari is about 25 km away. As the villa is located in the centre of the Gulf of Asinara you can easily make excursions eastwards, towards the Costa Smeralda, and westwards, towards Stintino and the island of Asinara, locations reachable by car in about 1 hour. The property also has agreements for daily helicopter excursions to the Costa Smeralda (15 minute flight) where you can get a boat to visit the islands of the archipelago and then return directly to the villa in the evening via the private heliport.
