The access road to the house loses itself among woods of acacias and broom, interrupted by fields of olive trees and vines. The house in the past was a watchtower and, in fact, this can be seen from the way it is structured, on floors of different heights, a series of ups and downs and intersecting areas, sometimes with wide openings between them. The atmosphere inside the house is a perfect entwining between past and present, between art and nature. The paintings, works, furnishings and objects contribute to giving the rooms an extraordinarily deep and sincere perception of the past, not common to other old houses. The house enjoys a breathtaking view of the landscape. Along the impressive route, you will encounter a myriad of incredible wooden sculptures created from huge tree roots.

Interior

The house has three floors. On the ground floor are two small double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a living room and a guest bathroom with shower, accessible only from the external portico. On the first floor is the kitchen, with direct access to the courtyard, where the heart of the house is located; the area is brimful of objects and curiosities. Finally, on the second floor are two further double bedrooms, a bathroom with tub and another living room with ornamental fireplace, from where you can admire the beautiful view of the hills from the small balcony. Each room has been painted by the former owner, an English artist, with different colours and patterns that make each room unique. ATTENTION: two of the bedrooms do not have a particularly easy access.

Park

The property, fenced along half of the terrain, is surrounded by a park of about 7 hectares, most of which are wooded. The roughly 1000 sq m garden surrounding the house is full of surprises. Going round the perimeter of the house, you come to a portico and a veranda, both perfect for spending pleasant moments with friends or family. Outside the entrance gate, on the right side of the property, you can reach a small pergola, with a wooden table and benches, via a downhill path, the ideal place to relax and admire unforgettable sunsets.

Swimming Pool

The heated swimming pool is set in the centre of a large lawn area that is reached from the house down a flight of steps. Near the pool is a gazebo, underneath which is a table perfect for dinners with friends or family while admiring the beautiful view lit up by the sunset. The rectangular pool, measuring 9 x 4.5 m with a constant depth of 1.30 m, is lined in PVC with a tiled border and has salt purification and Roman steps for access to the water. Surrounding the pool are sunbeds and armchairs with little tables and sofas. There is a hot-water outdoor shower.
