Description

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). CIS CODE: BA07201791000043873 Set in the beautiful countryside of Puglia, renowned for the trulli and for Alberobello, one of the most beautiful borghi of Italy and UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, villa is a perfect blend between the comfort of modern hospitality and respect for the typicality of the Valle D'Itria. The result is a splendid example of architecture based on the restoration of the old structures typical of this part of the territory, harmoniously set in a vast and charming grove of olive and fruit trees. The inspiration for this skillful restoration work was the desire to offer guests the opportunity of a unique and alternative experience, in an ideal place where nature, relaxation and the sea blend perfectly together. Close by are well-known places that merit a visit: Alberobello, Ostuni, Cisternino, Bari, Locorotondo, Castellana Grotte, Fasano, Grottaglie, Martina Franca, Polignano a Mare, Gallipoli, Otranto, Lecce.

villa HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A CHECK-UP BY A TECHNICAL RESPONSABLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, TO ENSURE CONCISTENCY OF THE DESCRIPTION, ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THIS PAGE AND THEIR PRESENT STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE, TO GUARANTEE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND COMFORT TO ALL CLIENTS WHO WILL STAY HERE.

Interior

villa is a complex of three cones plus a lamia (rectangular structure), skillfully restored while maintaining the original vaults and wooden beams. The building has a habitable area of 100 sq m. From the entrance hallway, on the left hand side there is small sitting room with stone fireplace while on the right hand side you can reach the fully-equipped kitchen with dining room. From the kitchen and from outside it is possibile to have access to the large covered veranda that is completely dedicated to wellness: large heated stone hydro-massage tub with 16 water jets up to 34 degrees, infrared sauna and relax area with chromotherapy with sofas and chaises longues to enjoy the view over the valley. To the left is the master bedroom cleverly equipped with a working bioethanol fireplace; the room has an en-suite bathroom with shower. To the right is the second double bedroom with adjacent shower room.

Park

The park surrounding the house is about 14.000 sq m of level land, planted mainly with olive and fruit trees. In a part of the garden not far from the house, an iron and tissue pergola finds its ideal place, creating a lovely shaded area furnished with comfortable resin seats. Near the entrance and a short distance from the swimming pool, on the other hand, a covered patio equipped with a dining table enriches the area, which thus becomes enjoyable especially in moments of conviviality, thanks also to the bar kiosk with a stone barbecue. Clever Apulian-style lighting makes this a space to be enjoyed to the full even on summer evenings, which will remain indelible in guests' memories.

Swimming Pool

The circular pool (5 m diameter) is about 10 m from the house and is easily reached from the gazebo. It has a constant depth of 1,40 m, access to the water is via large steps, it has chlorine purification and is lined in stone with half the circumference taken up by seating for hydro-massAge. The sunbathing area is in part stone-paving and in part lawn. It is equipped with deckchairs and is available from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday of October.

Location and distances

The Valle d'Itria welcomes its visitors into an expanse of ancient olive trees, surrounded by a redolent red earth which renders the surrounding landscape a succession of unique colour effects with, in the background, the skyline punctuated by the cupolas and pinnacles of the famous trulli. Also known as the Valle dei Trulli (Valley of the Trulli), it stretches between the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto and includes the towns of Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, Ostuni, Locorotondo, Ceglie, Cisternino, Fasano, Martina Franca, Noci and Putignano. In the heart of the Valle d'Itria, not to be missed is Alberobello with its trulli, Unesco World Heritage site; along all the valley are scattered villages with these typical constructions, like Cisternino and Locorotondo. Nearby are the famous Grotte di Castellana which have often been the ideal setting for performances of Dante's Inferno.
